Fred is a professional control and automation Senior Systems Engineer and technical lead with 20+ year experience in the Systems Integration Industry. Experience gained in most sectors (essentially utilities, process and manufacturing industries) from undertaking Front End Design roles through to the development of turnkey solutions, including computer systems validation. A combination of solid technical background, problem solving, design, consulting & commissioning experiences used to offer delivery of highly competent professional engineering at all levels.

Project delivery at all stages of the project lifecycle from feasibility study to commissioning. Experience gained with the successful delivery of a multitude of technology-based projects predominantly in the UK utilities and process sectors.

Front End Design: Site surveys and writing of specifications to various standards. (URS, FDS, SDS, Network/Hardware Specifications and other technical documentation).

Project engineering experience gained through the successful delivery of various schemes from Requirement through to Commissioning.

Extensive knowledge of ladder logic programming PLC/DCS systems with Siemens (TIA Portal, Simatic, PCS7, Simocode…) and Rockwell (Studio5000, Controllogix, SLC500…) including Fail Safe Systems. Good Knowledge of GEM80, Omron and Mitsubishi PLC systems.

Excellent knowledge of SCADA systems; WinCC (6.2 to 7.5, Flexible Professional, Advanced, SINEC NMS), RSViewSE/32, Industrial Defender RTAP, FIX32 and InTouch,

ArchestrA, HMI programming and integration experience.

Database/Site Wide Historian Systems, Telemetry Systems, Data Management and Low-level software programming.

Pharmaceutical experience gained at Eli Lilly UK and Bristol Myers Squibb Ireland with wide use of DCA software (Regulus).

Water Technology experience through United Utilities, Thames Water & Severn Trent Water in England.

Chemical experience through Thor Specialities and Shell UK Oil Products.

Food & Beverage Experience through Nestle and Coca-Cola in France.

Masters graduate with academic background in Automation Electrics and Robotics.

Excellent communication skills, adaptability for all backgrounds, fluent in French & Spanish.
